Alex holds a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, with a double major in Sociology. He completed the first two years of medical school training before transitioning to the Lee-Oesterreich Lab to start his PhD. He is currently studying breast cancer in the context of endocrine resistance applying techniques that utilize single-cell RNA seq, machine learning, and metastatic clinical samples. Alex enjoys working out, video games, and cooking.
