Madison Seaver
Administrative Assistant
Madison Seaver is the primary administrative assistant to Dr. Steffi Oesterreich, Dr. Lan Coffman, and Dr. Katherine Aird, and a co-administrator to Dr. Nadine Hempel. She moved to Pittsburgh in the summer of 2021.
Madison got her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Mary Washington, where she took particular interest in phonology, the study of the interactions between gestures of the mouth, hands, and body in human languages. When not helping researchers coordinate their vital work, Madison writes (poetry, fiction, and nonfiction) and makes visual art in dry media, pen and ink, raster, and vector media.
