Rahul Kumar, Ph. D.

Rahul Kumar is a post doctorate associate at the Lee-Oesterreich Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in Jan,2024. His graduate work focused on the identification of somatic mutational landscape in breast cancer among Indian women by using whole exome sequencing approach. During his PhD, he received various national and international awards including Global Scholar in Training Award from AACR and Global Breast Cancer Conference scholarship from Korean Breast Cancer Society. He is working on the characterization and functional studies of structural variants found in the ER+ breast cancer.

Outside the lab, Rahul enjoys cooking and excursions.
