Connor Purdy, PhD

Connor is a postdoctoral researcher at the Lee-Oesterreich Laboratory. Connor holds a B.S in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Purdue University, and a PhD in Cancer Biology from University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. During his PhD, he studied stress-induced selective mRNA translation during hypoxia and how this process contributed to breast cancer progression. Currently in the Lee-Oesterreich lab, he is studying how plasma membrane dynamics are altered with loss of e-cadherin in invasive lobular carcinomas.
