So proud of the Lee-Oesterreich Lab this week at the International ILC Symposium in San Francisco!
A few personal highlights: Steffi Oesterreich delivered the Dynami Foundation Leigh Pate Memorial Lecture, marking a decade of progress in ILC research. I had the chance to present on the expanding repertoire of preclinical models of ILC. And I couldn’t be prouder of our lab’s Christopher Merkel and Brent Schlegel, both 2026 Susan G. Komen Early Career Investigator Award recipients who gave quick-shot oral talks, and Insa Thale, who presented her work as a poster after receiving a Symposium Travel Award.
Congratulations also to Julia Foldi for her superb debate performance on neoadjuvant therapy in ILC and Ziqi Wang MD for her poster presentation.
And as a bonus – at the meeting we got to reconnect with an alumni, Abdalla Wedn, who is now at Merck!
