Ziqi Wang, MD

UPMC General Surgery Resident

T32 Postdoctoral Scholar, Department of Surgery

Ziqi is a general surgery resident at UPMC where she completed her first three years of general surgery training and is now in her two years of research development time (after which she will return to clinical residency and finish her remaining two years of general surgery training). She is working with Dr. McAuliffe and Dr. Oesterreich to perform secondary analysis of the ILC Window trial and is also studying surgical outcomes in ILC. She completed undergraduate training and medical school at the University of Florida through a 7-year B.S./M.D. Program. Outside of work, she enjoys DIY projects, rock climbing, reading, and spending time with friends and her three cats.
